The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Season 4 starts March 2010! The tour will continue to make history in Season 4.
Every year PokerStars sends thousands of poker players to compete in events across Europe, the US and the Caribbean. The APPT has created a whole new dimension of poker in Asia, marking its emergence as a truly global sport.

Danny McDonagh – APPT Tournament Director
Danny McDonagh has planned, promoted and directed poker tournaments in Australia since 1998 and was at the helm at every major poker tournament at the Crown Casino, from its opening through to the 2007 Aussie Millions, a championship which has gained an excellent reputation among leading poker players as one of the premier poker tournaments worldwide. He has also been tournament director for two televised poker tournaments series in Australia.
Danny was an original partner of www.pokernetwork.com and he established poker tours to, and live internet coverage of, a number of worldwide poker tournament destinations including the WHUPC in Vienna, St Petersburg, Moscow, New Zealand and Slovenia.
He has travelled widely to poker rooms throughout the USA and Europe and brings a wealth of experience to the role of APPT Tournament Director.
Jeffrey Haas – APPT President
Jeffrey Haas is intent on the growth of poker culture in Asia Pacific through the establishment and promotion of a series of exciting tournament poker events: The Asia Pacific Poker Tour. While poker is still nascent in most Asia Pacific countries, he believes that televised poker – coverage of local events! – will increase regional participation over time, while players from all over the world will come as tourists to experience the exotic locales and play some incredible poker.
Jeffrey has more than 10 years of experience in Media, Technology and Poker Gaming, with three years of experience at the Discovery Channel and four years building online poker businesses. He has executive-produced poker events in Canada, Sweden and Spain, including the Ongame Network Poker Classic.
